Dead Soil
This game is a submission for the LQGJ5: Man I'm dead Game Jam.
In this game, you must fight against powerful corporations that are destroying our planet for their own financial gain. Your mission is to save humanity by stopping the construction of factories and power plants that are polluting our cities.
How to play the game:
To prevent the spread of pollution, click on factories and power plants to destroy them, which will cost a point from your climate. Toxic waste and garbage will also appear, and must be removed at a cost of a point.
To counteract the spread of these pollutants, increase your population and spread nature such as grass and trees, and allow clean water to nourish the area, making it harder for factories and power plants to be constructed.
Tip: You can repair houses at a cost of a point

This is actually pretty cool. The propagation of pollution and grass to trees etc. is nice. Climate points are just given on a timer right? It almost feels like you are meant to lose and the climate is doomed, which is fair enough. As I kept playing I was able to combat it though so with work it could be overcome. Nice job. There's a good chance I looked too deeply into something made for a Low Quality jam but hey, I think this little sim is pretty solid.
Thank you so much! i made this on my spare time when i only had access to my mac.
